Effective Sales of Service (ESS)

EFFECTIVE SALES OF SERVICE IN A NUTSHELL

This program is a supplement to Bicycle Repair & Overhaul (BRO), and enrollment is limited to those who are enrolled in Bicycle Repair & Overhaul.

The most difficult sale to make in a bike shop, in most cases, is the sale of a repair. Sales techniques that work well with bicycle and merchandise sales are not always directly applicable to the repair sale situation. What is it that causes a customer to be so reluctant and difficult to please? This program is of immeasurable value to anyone in the position of selling repair work, if you want to increase customer satisfaction and service-department profitability.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?

The course is one and a half hours long, and is offered in the evening of the second Tuesday of each BRO. See the Schedule & Prices page for the dates.

"I felt your instructors made the learning environment pleasant. They did not flaunt their knowledge or skills but rather shared them. I felt comfortable even when I screwed things up. Their professionalism was quite apparent; an excellent reflection on BBI and you. I was amazed at their seeming encyclopedic knowledge of bikes, parts, etc. They were quite patient, too. In the end I feel more confident than I thought I would. Please pass along my compliments to them..."
